Piston Pump Hot Melt Glue Machines
Piston pump hot melt systems supply molten adhesive for industrial dispensing applications. Select a machine and configuration to match your adhesive and production process.
Oushida Piston Pump Hot Melt Glue Machine – High-Pressure Adhesive Application System
The biggest difference between a piston pump hot melt glue machine and a gear pump hot melt adhesive system is output pressure. Driven by compressed air, the piston moves up and down to deliver hot melt adhesive at a significantly higher outlet pressure than conventional gear pump systems. This makes a piston pump hot melt adhesive applicator an ideal choice for long-distance adhesive delivery, dot glue application, bead glue application, fast glue cut-off, and production lines requiring multiple glue hoses and applicators operating simultaneously.
Oushida’s piston pump hot melt glue machine series includes models with adhesive tank capacities ranging from 4 kg to 20 kg, supporting configurations with 2 to 6 hot melt glue hoses. These machines are widely used in woodworking, furniture manufacturing, packaging, automotive components, building materials, and other industrial bonding applications.
This type of machine differs significantly in its construction from gear-pump-based systems. The bottom of the adhesive reservoir is designed with an incline, ensuring that even when adhesive levels are low, the material flows naturally toward the suction port; the suction port itself is recessed, which minimizes residual adhesive at the bottom of the reservoir. The system utilizes a mechanical, self-driven mechanism, eliminating the need for electronic control assistance. The pneumatic switching valve employs mechanical sealing, avoiding the use of wear-prone O-rings or seals; the piston rod and the suction reservoir also feature mechanical seals. Furthermore, a dedicated pneumatic housing at the base keeps the pneumatic and electrical systems separate. Combined, these design features result in a robust, low-maintenance machine—ideally suited for the continuous, round-the-clock operating conditions of a factory floor.
Whether you need to apply dot glue application, bead glue application, fast glue cut-off, or supply 4–6 glue guns across multiple workstations, an Oushida piston pump hot melt glue system provides a practical solution for demanding industrial adhesive applications. The right model depends on adhesive consumption per hour, adhesive viscosity, required operating pressure, hose length, and the number of glue applicators.
