1.OSD-400B Hot Melt Roller Coating Machine Series

The OSD-400B Series includes four compact hot melt roller coating machines: OSD-300 box-type, OSD-300A, OSD-400A, and OSD-400B. Depending on the model and configuration, the series offers coating widths from 300 to 400 mm, a 3–4 L heating tank, and a maximum adhesive melting rate of 3–4 kg/h.

Designed for sample production, small workshops, and low-volume processing, these machines run on 220 V household power and have a total power rating of 2,500–3,000 W. Their compact size and relatively light weight make them easier to place in small workspaces.

Four Models for Compact Production

The box-type OSD-300 is intended for workshops where floor space is especially limited. The OSD-300A, OSD-400A, and OSD-400B offer different coating widths and configurations, with maximum widths ranging from 300 to 400 mm.

All four models use a shared heating tank system with a capacity of 3–4 L and a maximum melting rate of 3–4 kg/h. The operating temperature is up to 250°C, and the machines support adhesives with viscosity up to 20,000 CPS.

The series is a practical starting point for small EPE foam processors, footwear material workshops, sample rooms, and research and development lines. It is designed for flexible, small-batch work rather than high-speed continuous production.

Practical Features for Small Workshops

Each model features CNC-machined glue rollers and a copper doctor blade for adjusting adhesive application. The progressive preheating tank has a Teflon-coated interior to help prevent adhesive from sticking. Its external housing allows the glue tank to be removed separately for cleaning, making it easier to switch between adhesive types.

The main drive offers stepless speed adjustment. Roller patterns can be selected according to the material and application: smooth, mesh, dotted, or grooved. The pressure roller height is adjustable from 5 to 200 mm to accommodate different material thicknesses.

3.Applications

The OSD-400B Series is suitable for small-scale EPE foam processing, footwear material sampling, research and development trials, and small-batch paper lamination. It is a good fit for customers with limited budgets and materials up to 400 mm wide.

4.Choosing the Right Model

Select the coating width based on the materials you process most often. As a general guide, allow around 50 mm of extra width beyond the material width when choosing a model. The box-type OSD-300 is best suited to customers with exceptionally limited space.

If production volume increases, consider moving up to the OSD-600A Series to better support higher output and avoid a second equipment investment.

Application & Compatibility
