1.Hot Melt Glue Dispenser Series

Hot melt glue dispensers apply adhesive in precise dots, beads, or spray patterns, rather than coating an entire surface. They are used for bottle cap sealing, electronic component encapsulation, localized glue application on cartons, and spray bonding of nonwoven materials. These applications require accurate glue placement, consistent output, and reliable shutoff to help prevent stringing or dripping.

Oushida’s hot melt glue dispenser range includes compact, manually operated pressure-fed units and three-axis automatic dispensing platforms. The series covers production needs from manual dispensing to programmed, repeatable application paths.

2.Dispenser Types

  • OSD-2205 / OSD-2206 piston-pump dual-head dispensers: Mid-size production models with two glue heads for simultaneous dispensing at two positions.
  • OSD-102A / OSD-102B pressure-fed dispensers: Compact, manually operated models with a 1 kg glue tank, suited to low-volume production and on-site work.
  • OSD-831 / OSD-841 / OSD-861 three-axis dispensers: Automatic platforms that follow programmed paths, with XYZ positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm.

Common features across the series include an energy-saving progressive preheating glue tank, a filter and pressure regulator with water separator, two-stage filtration, timer-based glue control from 0 to 60 seconds, and an air-open, spring-close glue valve.

3.Series Features

  • Progressive preheating glue tank designed for energy-efficient, faster heating
  • Filter and pressure regulator with water separator, plus two-stage filtration to help keep the glue path clean
  • Specially designed plastic glue bucket for easier replacement
  • Two dispensing modes: spiral spray and dot or bead application
  • Timer-based glue control adjustable from 0 to 60 seconds
  • Air-open, spring-close valve automatically shuts off glue flow if air pressure is lost
  • Three-axis models use a handheld teaching pendant for programming, with no external computer required

4.Applications

The series is suitable for bottle cap dispensing, electronic component encapsulation, localized carton gluing, nonwoven fabric spraying, sanitary product lamination, and automotive interior bonding.

5.How to Choose a Model

  • For low-volume production, a small number of glue points, and manual operation, choose the OSD-102A or OSD-102B pressure-fed dispenser.
  • For continuous dispensing at a fixed station or two-head operation, choose the OSD-2205 or OSD-2206.
  • For programmed paths, multi-point arrays, or applications requiring precise positioning, choose a three-axis model based on the required working area: OSD-831 (300 mm), OSD-841 (400 mm), or OSD-861 (600 mm).

6.OSD-2205 Piston-Pump Dual-Head Glue Dispenser / OSD-2206 Dual-Head Glue Dispenser

The OSD-2205 and OSD-2206 are dual-head hot melt glue dispensers designed for continuous dispensing at fixed workstations. Both heads can apply glue simultaneously, allowing two points on one product to be completed in one cycle or two work positions to run in parallel.

The piston-pump glue supply provides stable pressure and repeatable glue output, making these models suitable for applications where consistent glue volume matters, such as electronic components, bottle caps, and filter elements. The 5 kg glue tank and melting rate of 5 kg/h support continuous production with periodic refills.

Controlled Dispensing for Repeatable Application

The machines operate with an air pressure of 1–3 kg/cm², a rated power of 2,800 W, and a 220 V power supply. They handle adhesives with a viscosity of 1,000–20,000 CPS and operate at temperatures up to 250°C.

A timer controls glue output from 0 to 60 seconds. Once the duration is set, the operator can use a foot pedal or switch to start dispensing; the glue head stops automatically when the set time elapses.

The dispenser supports two glue application modes:

  • Spiral spray: Suitable for applications that need broader coverage, such as nonwoven fabric or sponge.
  • Dot or bead application: Suitable for targeted glue placement on bottle caps and electronic components.

The air-open, spring-close valve shuts off automatically if the air supply is interrupted, helping reduce glue stringing and dripping onto products. A water-separating filter and two-stage filtration help keep moisture and particles away from the glue valve.

The specially designed plastic bucket can be changed without cleaning the melting tank, helping save time when replacing the glue container.

7.Key Features

  • Two glue heads dispense simultaneously
  • Piston-pump supply for stable pressure and repeatable glue output
  • 5 kg glue tank and 5 kg/h melting rate
  • Operating air pressure of 1–3 kg/cm²
  • 2,800 W rated power and 220 V power supply
  • Two-stage filtration and water-separating pressure regulator to help reduce clogging
  • Spiral spray and dot or bead dispensing modes
  • Timer-based glue control from 0 to 60 seconds
  • Air-open, spring-close glue valve

8.Typical Applications

The OSD-2205/2206 is suited to bottle cap sealing dots, filter end-cap bonding, localized glue application for automotive interiors, and adhesive dots for electronic components. It is a good fit for fixed workstations and production lines that apply glue at two points simultaneously.

For a single glue point at one workstation, the OSD-102A may be a more economical option. For automated paths or multi-point arrays, consider a three-axis dispenser. The spacing and angle between the two glue heads can be customized; provide the positions of both glue points on your product when ordering.
