1.OSD-350mm Hot Melt Adhesive Coating and Laminating Machine

The OSD-350mm is a pilot-scale hot melt coating and laminating machine for laboratories, sampling lines, and small-batch production. It processes materials up to 350 mm wide with a 400 mm roller face width. The complete line includes unwind and rewind units, tension control, multi-zone temperature control, a coating head, and a laminating nip.

The machine runs at a mechanical speed of up to 60 m/min and supports adjustable coating weights from 5 to 150 g/m², with glue supply accuracy of ≤5%. Its wider coating-weight range is useful for testing different adhesives, materials, and process settings.

Designed for Trials and Small-Batch Production

The OSD-350mm uses 3-inch air shafts for unwinding and rewinding, with a maximum roll diameter of Φ400 mm. The specified tension range is 10–200 N·m.

A full-servo drive with a gearbox provides adjustable speed and process control. Imported servo components are available as an option. The machine uses a 10-inch Kunlun Tongtai touchscreen, with an operating interface consistent with Oushida’s wider production machine.

This model is designed to help manufacturers and research teams validate coating and laminating processes on a smaller scale before moving to larger production equipment.

Industrial Components and Controls

The OSD-350mm shares its electrical and mechanical component configuration with Oushida’s wide-format machine series. Components include a Siemens PLC, Schneider low-voltage electrical components, HIWIN linear guides and ball screws, NSK bearings, and Airtac cylinders.

Using a consistent control setup across pilot and production equipment can make it easier to transfer process settings when scaling up. The machine requires 380 V, 50 Hz, three-phase power and weighs 1,500 kg. Its overall dimensions are 2,100 × 1,150 × 1,500 mm.
